Hi Melinda,
I figured out how to post videos in WP 2.5 without using any plugin.
Once you have uploaded the video, get its url (link), ( you must use visual editor) click on Show/Hide Kitchen Sink button, then click insert/edit embedded media and put the link there. Hit save/publish and check.
Hope that helps. I would suggest disabling the "embed quicktime" plugin first so that it does not interefere with WP 2.5 default quicktime player.

Hi Manish,

I am using the "Embed Quicktime" plugin. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me right out of the box. The js files included in it have extra dots in their names that my Apache configuration didn't want to serve. Once I got all the file names straightened out, the plugin works great, but the jQuery javascript it uses now messes up parts of my WP Admin interface (the part that allows you to upload media) -- so I end up disabling the plugin to upload media, and then re-enabling it. jQuery must be conflicting with whatever WP 2.5 is using. I figure I'll wait a little while to see if somebody issues an update, or maybe just start posting video to YouTube and embed the YouTube player instead. Then I won't be eating up space on my server with videos either. Let me know what you end up doing!
