Hello, I’m Melinda and I live in Smyrna, GA with my wonderful husband The Wrathful Dove aka John. I graduated from Georgia Tech in 1999 with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (with some extra CS coursework). I’ve been working as a computer programmer ever since, working mainly with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL and Java. At home, I like to program on my MacBook. I have done a side project in Ruby on Rails. I also like to tinker with electronics.
My other main hobby is violin, which I started playing as an adult, without realizing what the heck I was getting into. I also play piano, and I played clarinet through high school and college. I am second violinist in a string quartet called “Aria Strings”.
Also, I really like cheese.
